This website (bydlb.com) is operated by Daniele La Brecciosa, trading as byDLB. For the purposes of data protection law, I am the data controller responsible for your personal data.

What information I collect

When you use the contact form on this site, I collect:

Your full name
Your email address
Any project details or information you choose to share

I do not collect payment information, and this site does not process any transactions.

This site is hosted on Wix, which may automatically collect limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type and general usage data) through standard hosting and analytics functionality. This is separate from anything you submit directly.

Why I collect this information

I use the information you provide to:

Respond to your enquiry
Understand what you're looking for, so I can advise whether and how I can help
Keep a record of our correspondence, should we go on to work together

I do not use your information for marketing, and I do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Legal basis for processing

I process your information on the basis of legitimate interest — responding to enquiries you've chosen to send me — and, where we go on to discuss potential work together, in preparation for a possible contract.

How long I keep your information

I retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and follow up, or, if we begin working together, for the duration of that relationship and for as long afterwards as required for legal, accounting or tax purposes. If your enquiry doesn't lead to further contact, I aim to delete it within 12 months.

Where your information is stored

Form submissions and email correspondence may be stored via Wix's hosting infrastructure and standard email services. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK or EU; where this happens, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) apply, as required by data protection law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and, where applicable, EU GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal data I hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict how your data is processed
Request a copy of your data in a portable format
